Weight No More – 13 Simple Steps To Improving Your Health, Achieving Your Ideal Weight And Maintaining It – Part3
Here are the last 5 tips:
9. Steer clear of fast food.
Fast food is generally high calorie and high fat. On top of that it’s highly processed and most of the nutrients your body needs to be healthy have been removed. Remember, when you’ve eaten a full meal and you ‘re still craving food, it’s because your body didn’t get all the nutrients it needs. You need to eat nutrient-rich whole foods.
10. Prepare healthy meals at home.
When you eat out, you don’t have control over the ingredients used to prepare your meal and you never really know all the ingredients that are in your food. When you fix your meals at home, you have total control and you can use only those ingredients that are going to best help you achieve the weight you desire.
11. Eat only when hungry.
Often times, eating is a habit and you may not even be hungry when you snack or you may continue to eat after you’re full. Don’t eat while watching TV or sitting at your desk or computer. Eat only at the table and focus only on tasting and enjoying the different textures and flavors in every bite. Chew your food thoroughly until it is a liquid. Pay attention to how you’re feeling while you’re eating and stop before you’re full.
12. Take high quality nutritional supplements.
No matter how well you eat, the way food is grown, handled and processed before it reaches your table, it’s not as rich in nutrients as it was in your grandparents days. Even if you eat organic food, you’re probably not getting all the nutrients you need from the food you eat. If you’re reducing calories, even a little, you’re also reducing nutrient intake. Take superior quality supplements that address your unique needs.
Supplements that are personalized to your specific biochemical needs
will not only help you to live healthier and longer, but also help you reach your weight goals easier.
13. Exercise and get your beauty sleep.
Last but not least, don’t forget to get at least 20-30 minutes of exercise every day. Get in the habit of walking or doing your favorite aerobic exercise at the same time every day. This helps to make it a habit. After a while of consistently doing it at the same time, if you skip it, you’ll miss it. The same is true for sleep. Get on a regular schedule and stick to it. Make sure your body gets the rest it needs.
