Just Like Sugar

Just Like Sugar is a new sugar substitute made from just four ingredients: chickory root, calcium, vitamin C, natural flavors from the peel of the orange.

It is free of soy, yeast, animal derivatives, MSG, l-glutamic acid, d-glutamic acid, aspartic acid, gluten, wheat, dairy and preservatives.

It can be used just like sugar in the same quantities for everything you use sugar for.

While I am always skeptical about the healthfulness of sugar substitutes, this one appears to be made from all natural ingredients. It is also endorsed by Dr. Russell Blaylock, author of the book, Excititoxins the Taste That Kills. He is an expert on excitotoxins and neurotoxic ingredients like MSG and Aspartame.

This guide does NOT guarantee the brands on this list contain all healthy ingredients. In fact, I know that some do not. You still have to read labels. Make sure you have a copy of Food Additives: A Shopper's Guide... to take with you to the grocery store when you shop.
